                Serving the community since 1973 - You can make a difference!

The HCCB is a state & federally-recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and relies solely on donations from the community to sustain its operations.  All donations are tax-deductible, and go     directly to offset equipment, facility, and operational expenses, as       well as new music purchases to expand our repertoire.  Any donation,  big or small, is greatly appreciated!  If you've enjoyed the efforts of our dedicated volunteers and would like to help us continue to share the     gift of music throughout the community, you can make a secure    online donation via PayPal, or send a check payable to:

Levels of Support
Although the HCCB will gratefully accept donations of any size, some benefactors ask for guidelines on what amounts are needed for the HCCB to accomplish specific goals.  Here are samples of how your tax-deductible donation can help the HCCB continue to provide musical enrichment to the community:
$ 50     =  Chair Sponsor
$ 5000  =  New Work Sponsor
   Covers the fee to commission a new work by one of the
   best composers available. We would like to premiere a
   new work for our 40th anniversary concert (although five
   years away, most new commissions require at least a
   two year advance booking).

$ 10000  =  Outreach Sponsor
   Helps the HCCB to provide musical enrichment
   throughout the state by reaching out to communities
   on the neighbor islands with performances and clinics.

$ ?????? = Dreamer
   Helps the community construct and run a permanent
   home for Oahu's community performing organizations.
   Facility and equipment could be shared by as many as
   five groups, each rehearsing on one of the weekday
   evenings, with weekends reserved for performances.
The perfect way for a relative, friend, or employer to recognize and encourage someone who plays in the HCCB:  sponsor their chair.  Chair sponsors may, at their option, choose to be listed in printed programs.
$ 100    =  Music Sponsor
   Allows the HCCB to purchase a new piece of music to
   expand its repertoire and the variety of selections
   available to play for the community.
$ 500    =  Concert Sponsor
   Allows the HCCB to enhance the listeners' experience by
   renting an enclosed, air-conditioned auditorium for a
   formal concert.
$ 2500  =  Season Sponsor
Pays for auditorium rental, new music, rehearsal space rental, advertising, etc. for most of an entire season.
